Coach Cerrato's Corner

Welcome to Coach Cerrato's Classroom Website!

I am so excited to be your child's new teacher!  Many things will remain the same in the classroom, but some things may be a bit different.  I look forward to working with you as we team up for your child's success.

This website will be one way for us to communicate about classroom and school news, homework assignments, and other information.  Please check the website each week for updates and new homework assignments.  Spelling words will be posted on Friday for the next week.

Planners - A perfect communication tool

Your child should be bring home his or her planner each night with that day's homework assignments.  Please remember to check the planner every night for any communication from me, and to sign the planner when you have seen your child's completed homework assignments.  I will check the planners each day,  so feel free to write a note to me if you have any questions or concerns.

Homework

Homework is assigned as practice on skills that have been introduced and taught in class.  If students work ahead of the assigned pages in their Math workbooks, they may not have received instruction on the skills on those pages.  Encourage you child to work only on assigned homework pages.  If you wold like your child to have extra practice, you can write out some additional problems or talk to me about other options.
